Dr. Scott Grant is a board-certified ophthalmologist with over 30 years of experience providing patients with comprehensive care at his advanced private practice in Orange County, California. Dr. Grant, a native of Brooklyn, New York, did his undergraduate training at The Cooper Union in New York City obtaining a degree in Physics. He then received a master’s degree in applied physics at Stanford University and received his MD degree from Stanford University. He completed his residency in Ophthalmology at The Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA and Vitreoretinal Fellowships at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. and Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, England.

He was appointed to the medical school faculty of the University of California, Irvine in 1980 and has been in private practice since 1982. As a respected and highly skilled ophthalmologist in Orange County, Dr. Grant holds hospital affiliations at many local hospitals, including Anaheim Memorial Regional Medical Center, Los Alamitos Medical Center, Placentia Linda Hospital, St. Mary Medical Center and St. Jude Medical Center. He has been associated with the UCI Medical School for over 25 years, most recently as an Associate Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology
